Building Bonds in the Early Years: Stay & Play – Teddy Bear’s Picnic at HISB
At Heathfield International School Bangkok (HISB), we believe that the early years are a vital time for laying the foundation for a child’s learning, confidence, and emotional development. This week, our Early Years families came together for a special Stay & Play session with the theme “Teddy Bear’s Picnic” and despite the summer heat, the smiles were shining even brighter! 🧸☀️
Stay and Play events are more than just fun — they offer a meaningful opportunity for parents to engage in their child’s learning in a relaxed, playful setting. In international school communities, where families often come from diverse backgrounds and routines, these shared experiences help build stronger home-school connections and create lasting memories.
Spending quality time with children through hands-on activities boosts their confidence, strengthens emotional bonds, and supports social development — all essential in the early years. It also gives parents a valuable window into how their child learns and interacts with others.
We are so grateful to our Early Years parents for taking time out of their day to join us. Your presence makes a big difference in your child’s journey, and we look forward to many more joyful moments ahead!
