Personal Assistant to Headmaster
- Reports To: Headmaster
- Department: Executive Administration Office
Responsibilities:
- Assists the Headmaster in his duties associated with the School Board
- Screens and schedules appointments for the Headmaster.
- Receives, screens and places telephone calls and records messages for the Headmaster.
- Keeps the Headmaster abreast of information and policies pertaining to other international schools.
- Prepares and updates all main documents used by the Headmaster for Recruitment and School Board.
- Support the Headmaster with Recruitment, including the posting of advertisements, collection of applications and references.
- Maintain the School’s Single Central Register, liaising with HR for the necessary documentation.
- Sends emails and letters as required by the Head.
- Liaises with other Thai Departments within the school to ensure effective communication with the Head's office.
- Maintains general filing system in the Head's office.
- Assists the Headmaster in identifying and publishing community events and announcements which may be of interest to the Heathfield Community.
- Answers routine inquiries from parents, students and members of the community regarding the school general services.
- Ensures that office equipment is fully maintained.
- Plans organises Headmaster of school travel arrange must including school car, flight, and hotels.
- Provides support for translation work, including attending parent meetings, workshops or written communication.
- Support the Headmaster’s family activity and personal life.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Headmaster.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience as a PA or in secretarial work
- Previous experience working in a school setting (desirable)
- Ability to engage in open, honest communication
- Recognition of the importance of confidentiality
- An excellent command of English and Thai languages
